Who We Are
Widows Ministries International, Inc. (formally Cross Communications) is an independent, non-profit, 501(c)(3), nondenominational, Christian organization.
Vision
Widows' Ministries International, Inc. is dedicated to relieving the distress of the widow worldwide by raising awareness of her plight, mobilizing the local church to care for her appropriately, and facilitating ministries serving widows.
Mission
To provide resources to local churches worldwide that can be used by the Holy Spirit to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and build up the Body of Christ, His church, by making disciples while bringing honor to our widows; and to provide relational communication and connectivity between the ministries of the world serving widows.
Strategy
We will fulfill our mission by executing the following strategies:
· Cast the vision of the biblical mandate for caring for widows.
· Offer the local church worldwide resources to assist in providing a Widows' Ministry.
· Providing and maintaining an interactive internet web site for communication and connectivity to build relationships and community for widows and those serving widows.
· Promoting and facilitating the International Council of Widows' Ministries to identify, encourage, connect and resource those ministries providing service for widows.
